Danelectro’s modern-vintage take on the mini amp. From Danelectro, comes the Hodad II DH-2 mini amp. This sweet mini amp packs some serious punch, in a compact but powerful amplifier design. With a battery, you can take it on the road or plug in wherever and whenever inspiration strikes. It’s housed in a cool aqua/cream mini cabinet, and featuring all the vintage looks you’ve become accustomed to from a leader in modern retro design and sound. The Danelectro amp offers 1.5W with a power adaptor, and 1W with a battery. It features two ceramic 2″ round speakers running in parallel, for surprising punch and definition, for such a compact amplifier. The controls are Tone, Gain, and Off-On / Volume. Weighing in at 1 lb., this portable amplifier can be taken anywhere. Wiring instructon:
1. Make sure the correct wiring before connecting the amplifier board;
2. Speaker wiring: connects speaker “+” to Lout “-“, connects speaker “-” to Rout “-“;
3. Connect the audio input wire;
4. Power on the amplifier board after confirming the wiring. Remember to unplug the power if you want to change the wiring or move the board.
Note:
1. Power supply cannot be connected to the output interface of the speaker, otherwise the chip will be damaged;
2. Please mount install this amplifier bpard on somewhere without metal and other conductive objects to avoid causing short circuit or current sound;
3. Increase the heat sink when meeting with high-voltage power supply, cooling at high power output state.

This is a basic 2.5W Artec amp circuit board with on-board on/off/volume potentiometer, with an included 9-volt battery connector. We include a basic sheet with wiring diagrams for this board. These make a great little amp, which can be housed in a cigar box, tin, or other small enclosure. If you are looking for more of a kit, be sure to check our our separate kit listings! PRE-WIRED OPTION: The amp board you receive will have clearly labeled 12" leads pre-soldered to the key solder points on the circuit board: speaker, battery, LED and input jack. All you have to do is connect the leads to your amp components and you're good to go.
